The MYA team celebrated International Women’s Day with some of the incredible women who’ve been part of the MYA journey so far.
Being an all female team, we felt it was important for us to get together and appreciate the hard work and achievements of women everywhere.
Although women make up 47.4% of all workers in Australia, the full-time average weekly earnings for women are 14.2% less than for men.
MYA is committed to supporting women to exist in an environment of equality, fairness and gender inclusivity. We are proud to be a team that is led by women to inspire other women to be the best version of themselves. Here’s an insight into what our IWD day looked like.
“Friends. Sisters. Mothers. Professors. When women affirm women, it unlocks our power. It gives us permission to shine brighter,”
– Elaine Welteroth
Lunch location; a hidden oasis on Oxford Street.
The MYA team met for a long lunch at Oxford House’s Pool Bar. Shaded by fringed umbrellas and lush greenery, we enjoyed light bites and deep conversations.
Seated on a long table on a tranquil terrace, the MYA team reflected on the importance of women in business and how grateful we are to have incredible, ambitious women on the MYA journey.
